Daeter
Elvira Daeter was born in 1947 in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
While studying interior design and art history, she was impressed by the compositions of shapes, colours, juxtapositions, lines, light, movement, forms and illusionist interactions. Her great inspirations are Mondriaan, Malevich, Seuphor and Koolhaas among others. She began painting and sculpting in 2004. Her artwork “Movement 1” won the first prize on the Biennial: origins in geometry (Dallas 2015) awarded by curator Eleanor Heartney.
Elvira Daeter lives and works in Middelburg, Netherlands. Her work is exhibited in Europe and the USA.
