George is a native Texan, born in Galveston, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Mississippi and a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Dallas, who lives and works in Dallas. He is currently making digital artwork after decades in the business world. For the past 25 years as president of first Neonics Inc. and now Xeonix Inc., he has invented, designed, marketed, and distributed neon dimmers, as well as creating “Blossomlite”, inventing “NeonColor”, developing “DesignVision”, and designing “ElectricVinyl” – all of these being in the world of digital photography and creative neon lighting and design. In addition he has been in many exhibits and has had several one-man shows in the Dallas area.
MADI is a great artistic adventure, and perhaps, the only existing movement which can justify half a century of existence. MADI is more than an avant-garde movement; it has an underlying wave with several and differing offspring. It is the slow-paced growth of a tectonic plate in the history of art. Indeed, since art and environment are perveived as the fusion of two cultural phenomena, the progression and expression of both of these blend in everyday life.
