“After rejecting the notion of being an artist due to many tales of artists being those who had substance abuse issues or psychological issues, I finally found meaning I could relate with, as far as creative individuals were concerned, when I picked up a book at church one Sunday and read a description of artists as being like poets and saints, those who receive visions from God. My ideas about art include utilizing various systems of technical formula that enable me to express either my inspirations from a supernatural force or my own psychological patterns.”
MADI is a great artistic adventure, and perhaps, the only existing movement which can justify half a century of existance. MADI is more than an avant-garde movement; it has an underlying wave with several and differing offspring. It is the slow-paced growth of a tectonic plate in the history of art. Indeed, since art and environment are perveived as the fusion of two cultural phenomena, the progression and expression of both of these blend in everyday life.
