Santiago

Maria Santiago was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1968.
She studied under Prilidiano Pueyrredon, receiving her degree in 1993
from the National School of Art, and her post graduate degree in 2000
under Ernesto de la Carcova from the University Institute of Art,
both in Argentina.
Since 2001 she has worked and lived in Alexandria, Virginia.
She has exhibited her art work in Buenos Aires, New York , Atlanta, Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, and now in Dallas, Texas at the Museum of Geometric and Madi Art.
Maria is an abstract geometric painter working with contrasting color shapes and visual tension, emphasizing color and tonality.
